We are heartbroken to say goodbye to our dear friend, Lenny — a man whose presence brought light, strength, and kindness to everyone lucky enough to know him.
Lenny was the kind of person who made you feel like you mattered from the moment you walked through the gym doors. With a big, warm smile and a genuine heart, he greeted each person like family. Whether it was your first day or your thousandth, Lenny made you feel welcome.
As a young man, Lenny’s love for strength and sport shined through. He was a passionate weightlifter and powerlifter, and proudly held the bench press record at Stall High School for many years — a record that stood as a testament to his dedication and grit. But Lenny’s true strength wasn’t just physical. It was in his character, his compassion, and his quiet, steady presence that made everyone feel safe, seen, and valued.
Lenny adored his family. They were his greatest joy, and he never missed an opportunity to speak proudly of them. And he loved his CrossFit community deeply — not for the workouts, but for the people. He showed up for us every day, not just with effort, but with heart.
We will miss his laugh, his encouragement, his stories, and his unwavering kindness. But most of all, we will miss Lenny — the gentle giant whose legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched.
Rest easy, Lenny. Your barbell is racked, but your impact is everlasting. 💙
